Response to media speculation
New York, Melbourne -- Fluence Corporation Limited (ASX: FLC) wishes to address inaccurate media reports published online by internet site “El Vigia”, Mexico, dated 18 July 2020, that the San Quintin water desalination plant contract between our subsidiary, Desaladora Kenton (DK), and the State Water Commission of Baja California (CEA) has been cancelled.
DK and CEA have been engaged in ongoing and frequent discussions regarding changes to the project schedule and other contractual amendments requested by CEA. As soon as a definitive resolution has been reached, Fluence will update the market accordingly.
