XRF has emerged as an optimal solution for the screening of toxic heavy metals regulated by the EU Directives, RoHS and WEEE. PANalytical's MiniPal 4 RoHS WEEE – an energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer – provides a RoHS/WEEE screening function of the restricted elements. This datasheet describes a straightforward, robust method for the analysis of RoHS elements in two very different types of polymers (ABS and PVC) using a single calibration.
