The premises cover approximately 30 acres and include five different production areas, Ceran®, Robax®, optical glass, hollow glass production and fibre optics, which have a wide range of requirements in relation to water supply and disposal systems.
The EnviroChemie team ensures the smooth operation of
Well water: seven plants with a capacity of 4,500 m³/day, process support for the regeneration of the well water, chemical, physical and microbiological monitoring of the well water
Decarbonisation: a plant with a capacity of 2,800 m³/day, operation of a quick decarbonisation plant, maintenance, service, process support, analytics
DI water: six plants with a capacity of 360 m³/day, central and decentralised DI water supply by means of reverse osmosis and ion exchanger
Recycling water: two plants with a capacity of 5,000 m³/day, physico-chemical treatment, removal of water constituents such as heavy metals, sludge cycle
Cooling lubricants: five plants, 850 m³/day, cooling lubricant treatment with physico-chemical treatment plant and filtration plant, monitoring the concentration, corrosion and microbiology, legal documentation TRGS 611 (TRGS = technical rules for hazardous substances)
Cooling water: 19 plants, 25 MW, dosing and monitoring of open and closed cooling water circuits, analysis with regard to corrosion, concentration and discharge parameters in the sewage system
Wastewater: four plants with a capacity of 150 m³/day, physico-chemical treatment of wastewater from glass fibre manufacturing, physico-chemical treatment of wastewater from the surface treatment of glass with high cooling lubricant contamination, neutralisation of laboratory wastewater
