Swiss Post is Switzerland's second biggest employer with over 40,000 people in hundreds of business locations. As a conglomerate it operates in the following four markets: logistics market, retail financial markets, public transport and communications market.

At the beginning of 2009, Swiss Post began using SERAM to monitor their sustainability performance. As a logistics company the reduce of the CO2 emissions has a great importance. Swiss Post tracks the environmental key indicators according to the GRI standard trough the SERAM tool. The SERAM software helps Swiss Post to meet the ambitious targets they have set, in particular with their drive towards carbon neutral products and a significant reduction of CO2 in its operations.
