These jars show the treatibility with Floccin J and wastewater from cooked shrimp. The initial untreated water had a TSS of 1,230 ppm and a BOD of 3,000 ppm. The addition of 0.10 grams of Floccin J in 100ml (8.34 lbs/1,000 gallons) created a tight flock and a very clean effluent water quality. The treated TSS was less than 10 ppm and the BOD was 200 ppm. There was a significant amount of oil removed, but it was not quantified.
