South Korea leads the way of rainwater harvesting
Interest in the benefits of rainwater harvesting is becoming widespread in South Korea, which now has 47 “rain cities”.
The potential for developing regions to leap ahead in water affairs, by-passing the exposed shortcomings of centralized western systems is never more obvious than in the matter of rainwater harvesting (RWH).
Loosely named “rain cities” by Mooyoung, these municipalities have, to some degree or other, embraced his “everybody wins” theme, under which the outcomes are apparently all on the positive side.
