Blacklick Creek – Reynoldsburg, Ohio

Through stream restoration and bank stabilization, as the Environmental General Contractor, we were able to repair a dangerous situation facing an apartment complex in Central Ohio. The adjacent Blacklick Creek had eroded the bank to the point that a 40 foot cliff endangered both people and property. We cleared the area, relocated utilities, and diverted the stream. Next, we built a reinforced modular block wall, filled and graded the area, and placed rock channel protection in the creek to protect the bank. After completing the stream restoration and bank stabilization, the area is now safe leading to a fenced creek overlook.
