Structural Fabric Cover Minimizes Odor Emissions for Municipal Wastewater Facility

As municipal and industrial wastewater facilities find them-selves being ever more tightly squeezed by encroaching neigh-borhoods, the minimization of odor emissions becomes a critical operating issue.

This was the problem facing the Municipal Authority of Wyomissing in Reading, Pa., operating a 4 million gallon-perday wastewater treatment facility. Located right within the community, this facility experienced increased odor complaints from the surrounding neighbors during the summer months.
