  • We provided expertise in determining if previously closed waste management units and ongoing remediation efforts at an oil facility were and are being conducted in a manner consistent with applicable provisions of the federal Superfund program and the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP).

The Rundown

  • We reviewed facility documentation and reports, analyzed Federal and state hazardous waste regulations, and prepared a report documenting closure and remediation efforts. Our analysis was used to ensure that: applicable protectiveness standards were achieved, selected remedies were permanent and cost effective, and that the public was provided an opportunity to participate in the remediation process. We were also retained to provide expert witness services, if necessary.
