Drilling boreholes for exploration can be cost ineffective and time consuming. Doing surface-point resistivity survey can provide fast and accurate results, with known position of the target, FlashRES can utilize its electrodes in borehole to target the position of the target, this enables operators to have a good understanding of the interested area. Surface-point resistivity method can also help operator to overcome some site limitation, for example, if the borehole has long PVC casing, then the number of effective electrode on borehole cable will reduce, which makes surface-points resistivity method an viable option.
