Sustainable supply networks – II: frameworks at the company level and field studies
In line with the values and characteristics argued in Berke and Satir (2011), two frameworks are developed at company level in this sequel article: one for legacy supply chains and the other for future supply networks. A survey is designed and conducted to assess the level of contribution each characteristic makes in transforming a company from a not sustainable legacy stage to a future sustainable stage. Findings of the survey are discussed in terms of metrics used and outcomes. General and specific insights obtained from the survey are presented.
