Authors who wish to present a communication should send their papers via the Conference website
The CENTA Foundation has extended the deadline for the presentation of communications at the 3rd International Congress Smallwat. Wastewater in Small Communities to 30 October, in view of the demand from authors interested in participating in this new edition. All papers must be presented via the official website of the Conference (www.smallwat.org), where complete information about conditions for participation and registration can be found.
In this third edition, to be held in Seville from 25 to 28 April 2011 at the Conference Centre of the Hotel Barceló Renacimiento, there will be a review of the best international research work undertaken in recent years in the field of the treatment and purification of wastewaters in small communities. The organisers of the Conference have defined eight themes upon which authors may present their papers: decentralised urban, industrial and domestic wastewater collection, treatment technologies, water reuse, ecological sanitation, environmental issues, compliance with the Water Framework Directive and the Millennium Development Goals, water governance and case studies.
Authors interested in making a presentation should send an extended summary of their communication via the conference website (www.smallwat.org), where the conditions and the format for summaries of presentations can be found. Authors should indicate whether they are submitting an oral communication or a poster.
On the other hand, the CENTA Foundation is to award a grant to authors interested in attending the congress. This initiative aims at promoting the participation of the greatest possible number of scientists and experts wishing to present their work at the conference, but who may be prevented from doing so due to economic difficulties. These grants are intended for authors of communications from the priority countries and areas of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and the Andalusian Agency for International Development Cooperation (AACID).
Full information regarding participation requirements is available on the official website: www.smallwat.org.
