Service you can trust

Back in the early 1990s, before air quality monitoring legislation had come into force, Thurrock Borough Council was one of the first local authorities to become an Enviro Technology customer.

Now, with several monitoring stations across the borough, it is one of the strongest advocates for ET’s service and expertise.

Environmental Health Officer Mark Gentry said: “Air quality has always been a big issue for us here and we took the view that you need to come at it from a point of knowledge.

“We needed to know what we were dealing with before we could begin to tackle the problem, which is why we needed to start monitoring our air quality long before it came mainstream.

“Even then, Enviro Technology were at the forefront of air quality monitoring, both in terms of the equipment and the level of expertise, and things haven’t changed.”

Mark said: “We’ve now worked with ET for 20 years and as a result we are familiar with the equipment and their working practices, which gives us a high level of confidence in them. We know that ET will never compromise on quality.

“We also know the engineers well, and they are without doubt the best in the business. They are very reliable and their knowledge of their subject is second to none.

He adds: “Being a local authority, we are constantly looking for ways to save money and we did switch to one of ET’s cheaper competitors to service one of our NOX analysers, but we quickly realised it was a false economy when we ran into problems that they simply couldn’t rectify in the way we’d come to expect.

“Though ET are more expensive than some of their competitors, I’ve no doubt that they offer real value for money in the way that they will always go the extra mile to ensure the highest quality of service.”
