The sample was tested and the initial pH was 5.0. The Floccin G worked at this pH as well as 7.0 pH at a dosage of 1.5 grams/1,000 ml. The water was at 41 degrees F and it required about 2-1/2 minutes of mixing for good floc formation. The water was then poured thru a dewatering paper and the suspended solids of the treated water was less than 20 ppm.
