Town of Jerusalem, New York case study

Courtesy of Environment One Corporation

Located on Keuka Lake, in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, ageing septic tanks were failing and polluting the lake.

The Problem
Small properties are located on steep slopes. Gravity sewers were cost-prohibitive, costing twice as much as a pressure sewer system. Lot sizes were too small to install new onsite septic systems.

The Solution
E/One's grinder pump stations fit easily onto the lots. E/One's pumps are the only SPD pump on the market that could perform under the high head conditions

Jerusalem Today
Lake quality has improved, and homeowners don't have to worry about failing or overflowing septic systems.
