EnviTec Biogas has entered the relatively young Japanese biogas market with a 250 kWel biogas plant. The EnviWaste plant in Kishiwada (a city of Osaka) has been feeding electricity into the network since 27 March 2015. This means that the feed-in operation was in punctual compliance with the date that was targeted for the initial feed-in operation. The plant was designed and engineered in cooperation with the Japanese partner RENAGEN. RENAGEN is part of the REMATEC Group, which is a large waste material recycling company in Japan and southeast Asia. The target of the cooperation is the expansion of the biogas market in Japan.
