Irrigation - water recycling system at Barratt's Great West Quarter

Rainwater collection for new West London development.

Aquaco's innovative rainwater harvesting system is being supplied to Haydon at Great West Quarter which is a large apartment development in West London. The system is a rainwater collection device that will capture rain water from roofs and some hard standings via an innovative drainage system incorporating a large attenuation tank which will serve a package system with water treatment tank, dual filtration and disinfection. The system will supply the harvested rainwater to selected irrigation points strategically placed around the scheme.

This effective form of rainwater harvesting collects this excess water that would ordinarily be wasted and filter it for use throughout the home by storing it in tanks. The benefits of this include; less mains water consumption, reduced water costs and most importantly a reduction in environmental impact.

Great West Quarter will provide 773 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, including both private and affordable homes, shops, restaurants, a bar, a health club, an art gallery, a creche, a hotel and serviced apartments.
