1.2.3. By 2025, increase by 25% urban wastewater and excreta re-use in different sectors (agricultural, tourism, municipal uses, energy generation) where financially and culturally viable, and especially in water-scarce and drought-prone regions.

This session is delivered to support as many people as possible who are suffering water-borne diseases caused by bad sanitation due to water pollution and water shortage. Five speakers will present policies, technologies and applications of wastewater reuse in different situation in different countries. Experiences and lessons about implementing wastewater reuse will be told in details so the audience can use them for concrete plans. Some of the good examples pertaining to financial aspects will also be described and discussed.
