Math Handbook for Water System Operators
If you are a water systems operator responsible for providing safe drinking water to the public, you commonly use mathematics to calculate process parameters and make operational decisions. Math is also used in performing system maintenance, recordkeeping and budgeting. Water system operators are familiar with the technical concepts of water system operation but may not be familiar with the math principles used to solve common water system problems. This Handbook provides the tools necessary for the operator to be successful in solving the math problems encountered in daily operations and the math problems given on licensing examinations for water treatment and water distribution system operation. Over 150 basic math and water system problems are presented and solved in a step-by-step, easy to understand approach.
