Retail Safety Orientation (Handbook)
The retail industry may not have as many obvious hazards as do other industries, but its dangers are just as threatening. From back safety to fire safety, retail workers must remain aware of the potential occupational risks.
Retail Safety Orientation provides an overview of the different types of workplace hazards that your retail employees face. It focuses not only on grocery store chains but also on small market hardware stores. And it covers a wide range of workplace safety topics, including:
- Back safety
- Slips, trips and falls
- Ladder safety
- Fires and using a fire extinguisher
- Hazard communication
- Bloodborne pathogens
- Basic first aid
- Personal hygiene
- Safe use of box cutters.
The number of pages varies, but on average, but most handbooks are 16 pages long and include a tear-out quiz.
