The Codex standards for waters and codes of hygienic practice deal with mineral waters, bottled/packaged drinking waters, and with collecting, processing and marketing of natural mineral waters. The standards are published in this compact format to allow their wide use and understanding by governments, regulatory authorities, food industries and retailers, and consumers.
