History:
The history of ‘A. Jansen B.V.’ started in 1971 when Mr. A. Jansen decided to start his own company in Gerwen. The purchase of a second-hand mechanical shovel paved the way for a sound, fast-growing company.
In the following years, Jansen made important steps to expand her business. In this way, the activities were expanded to include, among other things, recycling, demolition projects and the production of concrete blocks. At the company’s headquarters in Nuenen, A. Jansen B.V. made preparations to open new plants in Helmond, Son, Amsterdam and Zeewolde. In the beginning of the 1990s, A. Jansen B.V. became an international company.
In the beginning of the 20th century, Jansen has outgrow her head office in Nuenen. One of the biggest challenges was the search for a new site to located the head office. After a long search, Jansen found her new home in a beautiful location in Son. The position close to the A2 / A58 motorways, the peace and quiet and the space for the modern fleet of vehicles and machinery make Son an ideal work location. The headquarters of A. Jansen B.V. have been situated in Son since 2007.
Jansen has several production sites in the Netherlands and a plant in Eastern Germany, where it operates under the name Jansen Beton- und Granitwerke GmbH. Today, Jansen includes a wide range of activities in the construction, recycling and transport industry. In 2012, Jansen employs an approximate total 300 people.
