Arie van den Berg is the founder and godfather of our company. In the late 60s he gave up a permanent job in Gouda to start his own engineering firm in Heerenveen. In a relatively short time, he managed to build a reputation for the company. With a small booth at an exhibition or conference somewhere in the world he attracted attention and established contacts for further discussions.

Arie was a pioneer in his field, but his thoughts were not limited to soil investigation and associated equipment. He saw possibilities and had solutions for a wide range of subjects. Keeping up the pace with Arie was sheer impossible, but as a result the company grew steadily until it eventually peaked at 75 employees.

According to his ideas, the employees have realized products that can still compete and have laid the foundation for a leading company in the field of on-and offshore CPT equipment.
