Our main objective is to enhance an organization’s ability to effectively fast-track chemistry projects by fine-tuning scientist productivity through smart decisions based on analytical chemistry and the potential biological endpoints of their products. With over two decades of experience boosting the productivity of synthetic and analytical chemistry laboratories worldwide, our software`s ability to understand and preserve the relationship between chemistry projects and analytical data is unmatched. As scientific expertise evolves and projects move forward, we help keep analytical data alive and relevant by unlocking the untapped value hidden within chemistry projects, decisions, and the data that drives them. We ensure that the context and knowledge extracted from projects is retained and leveraged to quickly resolve challenging problems and foster collaborations between groups and departments.
Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc., (ACD/Labs) is a chemistry software company that develops and commercializes enterprise and desktop solutions to support R&D efforts, and preserve and re-use legacy chemical and analytical knowledge. ACD/Labs' areas of expertise include a unique knowledge management solution; spectroscopic data processing and interpretation for NMR, MS, LC/MS, IR, UV, other optical, and hyphenated instrumental techniques; chemical structure confirmation, verification, and elucidation; impurity, metabolism, and degradation research; ADME-Tox and physicochemical property prediction, and property-based lead optimization; chromatographic method development and optimization; and chemical nomenclature. We also provide integration with existing Informatics systems and undertake custom projects including enterprise-level automation. A private company founded in 1994, ACD/Labs has worldwide sales and support presence, with offices in N. America, Europe, and Asia.
We are a flexible and fast-paced environment and would be interested to speak with chemists who are interested to join us in our development, sales, project management or support staff. If you have excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, an ability and willingness to learn, passion, energy, and analytical thinking we are interested in you. Degrees in Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related fields are preferable and knowledge of spectroscopy (NMR, IR, MS), chromatography (LC, GC), physical chemistry and/or biochemistry is highly desirable.
ACD/Labs' offices are situated in beautiful downtown Toronto, with many remote-based employees. ACD/Labs is an equal opportunity employer.
