About Us
Active since 1976, our company has a long experience in the field of ventilation, filtration, extraction and purification of air in industrial contexts.
The primary objective of AirbravoTM (with Airbravo and Airbox brand) has always been the design and manufacturing of solutions to reduce the impact of pollutants produced from industrial manufacturing , on the health of workers and the surrounding environment, in compliance with the regulations in force.
To meet the needs of the market, workers and the environment, AirbravoTM since 1976, has invested in the development and production of systems for localized capturing of pollutants and capable of extracting at the source gases, vapours, dusts and mists avoiding the dispersion of harmful and/or toxic substances in the work environment and in the atmosphere.
Every device or appliance of AirbravoTM, from extraction arms to machines for air extraction and filtration up to downdraft tables, has been conceived, designed and manufactured for a localized collection at the source of harmful substances (fumes, dusts and particulates , vapours, gases, mists) originating from industrial processes, providing an effective and practical solution against occupational diseases and against the dispersion into the atmosphere of polluting substances.

The history of AirbravoTM regards ambition and values that we try to tell every day, producing and developing cutting-edge products. It is a story of commitment, tenacity and continuous study that has enabled the company to establish itself on the market as an international leader in air extraction, ventilation, filtration and purification in the industrial sector and laboratory premises.
Born in 1976
from the intuition of Lucio Bellieni, the adventure of Airbox (now AirbravoTM) begins in Rome. This is where the first extraction systems started to be designed, assembled, tested. The study of new solutions, advanced technologies, new systems in line with market needs and in compliance with the current regulations, goes hand in hand with the manufacture and production of established models.
Between the ’70s and ’80s
filtering machines and systems were produced for air filtration and purification and were marketed and distributed in the industries and factories of central and southern Italy.
In these years the company specialized in the production of extraction and filtering machines for restoration activities, supplying various sites, schools and institutions, first in Rome and then throughout Italy.
In 1985
AirbravoTM patented the Professional extraction arm of the EP series with a quad-pantograph structure which becomes the top model and top of the line, achieving a great success among customers for its strength, stability and quad-pantograph technology that distinguishes it in addition to the design and materials used.
In 1993
Airbox (now AirbravoTM ) bolstered by a growing success, arrived in France. A plant was opened and the second headquarters of the company manufactured and marketed across the Alps products with a design and creation which still remained Italian.
In 2004
The headquarters in Rome became the sole centre of production and manufacture of AirbravoTM extraction products. Two support offices were established In France and Milan.
In 2009
The attention to the environment, that animates the company and which underpins the system of values of Airbravo TM, has meant the implementation over the years of optimization and energy saving measures within the plant. A photovoltaic plant of 50 KW was installed able to respond to the energy needs of the factory and offices.
In 2010
the Pharma extraction arm (EF series) was designed, patented and launched being dedicated to the Pharmaceutical industry. An arm entirely made of AISI 316 stainless steel that can be dissassembled, washed and cleaned in all its parts in order to eliminate the risks of cross-contamination.
In 2017
The innovative patent of the Friction Tuning System was deposited representing the system that allows to adjust, according to the requirements of use, the movement of the extraction extension (EPB Series) favouring a better governability of the extraction arm and extension assembly.
Today
Airbravo TM consists of a multilingual commercial area, a technical office with a section dedicated to research and development and a production area from which the factory in Rome depends.

Since 1976, we have filed numerous AirbravoTM patents bringing technological innovations to extraction arms and to systems for the localized extraction of pollutants in the industry and laboratory premises.
