Analytical Environmental Services, Inc. (AES) is to provide the highest quality NELAC accredited environmental testing services. As a independent woman owned company, AES is accredited and certified by several state and federal agencies. This allows AES to offer a wide range of environmental laboratory services which include: water, soil and hazardous waste, mold and asbestos.AES also provides services to client projects located in Puerto Rico, Asia and South America.

Since our establishment in 1992, we have earned a reputation for our dedication to providing high quality and legally defensible data in a quick, cost effective manner. Our staff of highly skilled, dedicated scientists provide certified laboratory analyses of toxic, hazardous, and non-hazardous water and wastewater, USTs, Industrial Hygiene, asbestos and lead.

Analytical Environmental Services, Inc.performs analysis according to methods approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency , American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and American Industrial Hygeine Association (AIHA).
AES’ testing capabilities include routine testing of air, water, soil, waste and process materials for organic and inorganic constituents. We also provide a full range of asbestos and microbiological testing. Our certifications and accreditations allow us to provide services in several states to meet environmental compliance requirements.
AES provides each member of the analytical staff with controlled written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Each method is properly validated, along with any associated Method Detection Limit Studies (MDLS) and Initial Demonstration of Capability (IDOC’s) for each analyst.
AES understands that not all projects or scope of work are routine and that techniques need to be developed to provide the services that our clients seek. AES has the resources and expertise to provide most services requested by our clients.

Since 1992, AES’s main laboratory has been located in Atlanta, GA. Our state-of-the-art facilities encompass an area of over 25,000 square feet. All samples arrive in the sample receiving/shipping department where they are logged in and designated to the proper holding area.
Our Project Managers and Administrative staff have easy access to the sample receiving area to meet with clients and address any questions or concerns prior to sample submittal.
The sample preparation lab is conveniently located next to the receiving department, thus allowing samples to be prepared in a quick and efficient manner.
Each of the testing laboratories are independent from one another. Our laboratory was custom designed to maximize production and efficiency; and to minimize the potential for cross contamination and worker exposure.
AES maintains the newest technology and instrumentation in our laboratory. Equipment undergoes regular maintenance by in-house engineers, which reduces downtime and increases production. A sampling of our equipment includes several of the following: GC with FID, PID and ECD detectors; ICP MS; GC/MS; HPLC; ICP; Flame AA; TOC and TEM. The objective of Analytical Environmental Services, Inc. is to generate high quality data in a cost-effective manner. Data which is accurate, impartial, reliable, and adequate for its intended use. The management of AES is committed to following accepted laboratory practices and strives to ensure both the analytical validity and legal defensibility of all reported data.
AES management is committed to compliance with The NELAC Institute (TNI) Standards, AIHA International Standard (ISO/IEC 17025) as well as North Carolina and South Carolina rules to establish, implement, and maintain a quality system appropriate to the scope of all laboratory activities, including the type, range, and volume of testing. AES also documents the policies, systems, programs, procedures, and instructions to the extent necessary to enable AES to assure the quality of the test results generated.
Quality system documentation is communicated to, understood by, and made available to AES personnel through training and educational instruction. All laboratory staff associated with analytical testing activities must familiarize themselves with the quality documentation and implement these policies and principles in their work.
