Vibranetics was acquired in 1985 to broaden our equipment line to include dischargers, bins, and hoppers. Over the years, as the Carrier product line has grown, we have systematically integrated the best of Vibranetics’ technology and phased out equipment previously marketed under that brand.

Carrier is 100% employee-owned and led by a dynamic executive team consisting of talented individuals who have risen through our management structure. These leaders are able to draw from a deep well of vibratory process market experience and business acumen to successfully lead Carrier in the new global market.

Carrier Vibrating Equipment is based in Louisville, Kentucky. Although this 250,000 square-foot facility serves as our manufacturing and administrative headquarters, our custom-engineered solutions extend to plant sites around the globe.

New equipment is also manufactured in Europe by Carrier Europe SCA, in China by Carrier Vibrating Equipment (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, and by licensees in Australia, India, Japan, and Sweden.

Workforce & Certification

Carrier welders are certified to the highest industry standards. Each welder goes through a rigorous training program with the Manager of Welding Technology, along with classroom training dealing with defects, discontinuities, and other problem or critical areas.

Welders are certified to A.S.M.E. and A.W.S standards. The workforce is very involved with the local A.W.S. section and Carrier encourages participation in all section meetings and functions.

Team is certified to weld a variety of metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and duplex stainless. Other exotic alloys include nickel, Inconel, and titanium. They are also trained in the art of polishing stainless steel and other exotic materials, from mill quality to 3A dairy and pharmaceutical grade finishes.

Trained supervisors oversee the daily production of our welders, in cooperation with our Quality Control Department, to ensure the highest quality equipment. We encourage our welders to “make their next weld, their best weld – daily!”

Shop Capabilities, Machinery & Tools

The manufacturing shop utilizes a laser-cutting table to improve equipment quality and reduce delivery lead times. Surfaces produced by the laser have very little roughness, contributing to high-quality cuts meeting exact specifications.

The 7 foot x 20 foot laser is capable of cutting up to 3/4 inch thickness in stainless steel and carbon, and 3/8 inch thick aluminum. Cutting accuracy is within 0.010 length, width, and hole-to-hole.
