Chemviron Carbon produces a range of pulverised, extruded and granular carbons, including acid washed and impregnated products for use in a wide range of air, gas, water and process applications. With approximately 220 employees and head quartered in Belgium, Chemviron Carbon has a network of sales offices in Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden and the United Kingdom as well as at extensive network of Agents and Distributors throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

At Feluy, approximately 50 km south of Brussels, Chemviron Carbon has the world's largest Reactivation Centre allowing granular or extruded activated carbons to be continually recycled. In the United Kingdom. a Reactivation Centre is located in Grays, Essex, and a specialty activated carbon manufacturing plant is located in Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Manchester.

Our Engineering Group based in Belgium supply a range of standard and engineered solutions. This is backed up by a support network of Engineers, Technicians and a Technical Service Laboratory developing solutions for an expanding range of applications.

Chemviron Carbon Cloth Division (CCCD), located near Newcastle in the United Kingdom produces Activated Carbon Cloth, under the ZORFLEX brand name, for a range of special applications.

Chemviron Carbon has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification for the manufacture, sale and distribution of activated carbon and reactivation products as well as for the design, project management and manufacture of equipment.

In addition, all manufacturing sites are ISO 14001:2004 certified regarding the manufacture and supply of carbon products, including regeneration.  This demonstrates the company's dedication to identifying and addressing its main environmental impacts with the ultimate aim of continually improving its environmental performance.

Our site in Feluy, Belgium, is the only carbon reactivation facility in the world with ISO 22000:2005 accreditation, for our Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
