'It’s time for a change! cTechConnect Global Connections 2013 is a different kind of event. It is designed to directly connect you to the corporate decision makers who can move your organization, your region, or your portfolio companies forward. We spend a huge amount of time identifying the right executives within the corporation and then through facilitated introductions make them accessible to you. No more stumbling around an event hoping to bump into the right person or collect the right business card. We promise to make it happen for you

The clean technology space has evolved dramatically over the past 10 years. The overwhelming impediment in the market is no longer “lack of access to capital”. I believe it has shifted to a “lack of access to markets”. The path to access these markets for many cleantech entrepreneurs is through the right connections, relationships and partnerships primarily with major corporations. The problem however, is that it is extremely difficult for entrepreneurs or their support structure to identify the right individuals within the corporation (and sometimes even the right corporations) that can help move their business forward. This event is specifically designed to attack that problem.

Ten years ago, I set out on a journey to help entrepreneurs and investors with what I perceived as the major obstacle in growing their businesses and portfolio companies and in commercializing their products and technologies – lack of access to capital. Fast forward to the present and that obstacle has largely been overcome – capital is now available for great companies. However, access to markets often is not. I, along with my colleagues at CleanTech Connections are now set to embark on our next journey – one to help alleviate this current obstacle directly in the way of commercial success for many entrepreneurial companies.

cTechConnect Global Connections 2013 is the first step along that journey. I created the original cleantech investment event in 2002 (the Cleantech Group’s Cleantech Forum) that has been the “must attend” industry standard for the past ten years. It is now my intention to create the event that I believe will become the industry’s “must attend” industry standard for the next decade. Making this happen is my sincere promise to all of my supporters, sponsors, speakers, attendees, family and friends.

Now is the time to move forward and re-examine the current needs of the clean technology space – its entrepreneurs, its investors, its scientists, its service providers, it’s champions and advocates, everyone who is as passionate as I am to build a sustainable future and leave this planet in a better place than we found it. It is disappointing that clean technology and energy events have become stale, and that agendas, topics and panels are all virtually the same event after event. As a result, the industry is not moving forward as it could or should be and the right conversations are no longer being catalyzed. We will change this with cTechConnect Global Connections 2013. Please support and join us!'
