Luigi Corazza was the first person in Italy to use special Swedish wear-proof steel, known today as Hardox. This is still one of the strengths of CORAZZA even today.

The company mission of quality to ensure customer satisfaction led to growth in markets and production with the development of a full range of innovative and high-performance products. These include buckets for excavators, buckets for wheel loaders, quick-couplers and log-handling forks.

Since 1975 the company has been based in a structure of 12,000 sq. m and headed by Claudia Corazza, Luigi’s daughter. Her leadership qualities have enabled her to develop and implement the goals of her father. In 1990 the range of products was
extended to include marble and granite quarrying tools including the unique and patented block-handling forks.
A constant search for innovation and high quality standards has enabled CORAZZA to become a market leader in the sector thanks to product quality and function. The company was awarded the Samoter prize for innovation at the 2006 international Samoter exhibition in Verona for the SpeedyPipe product.

In 2006 CORAZZA took up the challenge of an expanding global market by doubling the area of the manufacturing facility to produce mining equipment, specifically buckets for excavating machinery with an operating capacity of 300 tonnes.

In march 2010, thanks to the long collaboration with the Swedish steelworks SSAB, its main supplier, CORAZZA obtained the HARDOX WEARPARTS certification, giving the birth to a new special division with the task of researching of innovative solutions and supplying of special steels for Mechanic Industry.

“A solution for all needs” is the mission statement of CORAZZA, a company that has designed, manufactured and sold worldwide earth-moving, quarrying, mining and demolition equipment for over 40 years. The company is recognised as a market leader thanks to quality, rapid lead times, technical flair, design flexibility and the know-how obtained in conjunction with excellent manufacturing and quality strategies.

CORAZZA has always been at the forefront in the search for and development of product quality, a process based on the use of high-quality materials. CORAZZA was the first Italian company in the sector to be awarded “HARDOX in my Body” certification in November 2003 and in 2010 became part of the “HARDOX WEARPART” circuit.

Flexibility, availability and technology make CORAZZA one of the leading suppliers of large plant and machinery companies and their dealers. The products manufactured by CORAZZA are well-known abroad, particularly in northern Europe, a market which absorbs 50% of company production. The remaining 50% is absorbed by the domestic Italian market, countries in South America and the Middle East as well as emerging eastern European and Asian economies.
