Defiant Technologies

Defiant Technologies

Defiant Technologies offers an easy to use MEMS based portable gas chromatography (GC) system dubbed the FROG-4000. In about 5 minutes, this new GC-PID micro-system will separate and detect benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes, TCE, PCE, and other VOCs in water and soil down to 1 ppb. FROG-4000 will report the chemical name and concentration right to the screen and store every chromatogram on a micro-SD card for later use. This game-changing technology enables lab quality results in the field at the site where the samples are taken. FROG-4000 saves you money and time; no more waiting for results from an offsite lab while expensive machinery and labor sit idle. This instrument weighs less than 5 pounds (2.2Kg) and is made possible with cutting edge microfabricated technology that shrinks lab equipment down to low power battery operated components that don’t require specialty gases to operate in the field.
