Our History
Ecospill grew out of an established company which originally specialised in water filtration systems, pressure cleaners and pumps. Over time, as governing bodies began to further realise the impact of business and industry on the environment, companies were expected to become more environmentally compliant. Suddenly regulatory demands increased, fines became serious, expectation became regulation and we realised there was a need to help business meet their environmental obligations. Responding to growing customer demand we introduced Spill Response Training services and our range of Spill Response Equipment in 2003.

Much has changed over the years, and we remain committed to producing quality products at the cutting edge of technology. The introduction of DuraBund in 2005 provided a new revolution in floor bunding products. Escalating oil prices have seen oil-based sorbents (the industry standard) and polypropylene resin costs double over the last three years. It was time for a new way on thinking, and so in 2008 Ecospill proudly launched a new range of renewable, Organic Sorbents & Spill Kits.

In response to the Global Financial Crisis of 2009, Ecospill set out to re-invent the wheel (relating to EPA Compliant Spill Kits). So to speak. We wanted to develop a new budget range of Spill Kits that is more affordable to companies, without compromising on the compliance qualities of our standard Spill Kits range. It was indeed a challenge, because any company can put cheaper mats together with Kitty Litter and try calling it a cheap Spill Kit, but Ecospill wanted a budget range that was still EPA compliant. In 2010 we succeeded and our Econo Spill Kits range was developed. Available in 80L, 120L and 240L sizes, these new Econo Spill Kits provide an extremely affordable option without compromising on compliance. Central to our Econo Spill Kit range is a EconoSorb, a new extremely cost effective absorbent powder that offers excellent absorbency similar to EcoSweep.

In order to keep up with demand, and to continue to offer excellent service, Ecospill opened a distributor warehouse in Perth, Western Australia in 2010. Stocking our full range of products, our Perth branch is located at Unit 3, 28 Hammond Rd, Cockburn Central WA 6164.

Our People
Mr Kevan Goff, Managing Director of Ecospill proudly heads a team of qualified professionals to assist you with your environmental obligations. Qualified, professional service is of utmost importance, and in 2008, five of our Key Personell successfully completed both Diploma & Certificate IV level qualifications in Frontline Management.

With both dedicated field based Sales Representatives to provide onsite support when and where you need it, as well as Interal Sales you can be confident you’ll always have qualified advice and assistance whenever you need it. Our Distributor Sales Manager provides integral support and continued training to our network of distributors Australia Wide, so you can be assured of the same professionalism and experience when dealing with our distributors. We also have a Business Development Manager who specialises in assisting our Southern, Western Australia and Northern Territory customers with their specific requirements.

We are currently expanding our team of qualified Trainers who facilitate our Spill Response Training Courses.

Of course exceptional service cannot happen without excellent support staff. Our exceptional Management Team seamlessly oversee both warehouses to ensure that all orders are dispatched promptly and efficiently.
