In 2013, ENVEA has successfully completed the audit process on our INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM certifying our company as compliant with OHSAS 18001 for the Management of Health & Safety at our French factory. This audit process was performed in addition to renewing our ISO 14001 certification on Environmental Management.

OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) certification is based on the assessment of risk of accidents and regular decision-making to minimize them. This is an essential certification to improve employee satisfaction, and also helps reduce potential incidents or claims.

ENVEA has joined The Global Compact, which  was launched on 26 July 2000, when several dozen business leaders came together at UN Headquarters to participate to an international initiative that would bring companies together with UN agencies, labour and civil society to advance universal social and environmental principles.

With thousands of participants from more than 100 countries, the Global Compact has since become the world’s largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative.

The UN Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. By doing so, business, as a primary driver of globalization, can help ensure that markets, commerce, technology and finance advance in ways that benefit economies and societies everywhere.

Overall, the Global Compact pursues two complementary objectives:

The only way that ENVEA - SWR engineering can meet their high quality demands is to employ well trained and highly skilled personnel. We believe that our production is the best that can be achieved.
Each manufactured product is individually assembled by hand. Then it is meticulously tested, and double tested, according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
Before delivery, all devices are subjected to a continuous 24 hour test in a climatic chamber to simulate processes with high ambient conditions. The components selected are also chosen for their high quality so that they can function in rough process environments.

Constant, and up to date, training for our production personnel, and apprentices, is most important so that they can adopt the best production possible. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that we are supplied with the best of products. This achieved by continuously monitoring the specification and quality of all incoming production products.

A team of highly qualified engineers works daily on continuously improving our products and developing new solutions. These days, it is difficult to imagine the process industry without our measuring systems. We don't just offer our customers off-the-shelf solutions, we develop a solution together with you. Our proximity to our customers is especially important to us. Our engineers are happy to visit you at your premises to discuss the applications process and to get to know the exact situation.

In our in-house technical department, we are able to recreate process conditions and test the use of the devices for specific applications. We develop at the highest level, using high-grade test facilities such as climate chambers, simulation software all the way to complete process reconstructions.

ENVEA-SWR also keeps an eye on upcoming engineering talent. 'Investment for the future' is our motto. That is why ENVEA-SWR is in constant contact with colleges and universities. We support research projects and lecture at the university of cooperative education (Berufsakademie) in Lörrach. Our developments have already led to numerous patents and innovation awards.

Especially in measuring technology it is often not possible to discuss the requirements for a measuring system for the desired application area on the telephone.
