Envetec is the latest spin-off company of the TECHNOPATH GROUP, a wholly owned Irish group of companies specialising in Healthcare and Bio Technology solutions. Envetec is 100% dedicated to supplying Environmentally Friendly services and solutions to the Healthcare sector while also reducing the existing risk to public health and reducing the high spend associated with the treatment and disposal of Healthcare Waste which is a global problem.
The TECHNOPATH GROUP was founded in 1997, selling and distributing products into the Clinical Diagnostic and Food Technology sectors in Ireland. The business has grown exponentially through expansion into the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors. In response to market demand and to fulfill our vision of a total solution for customers, in 2005 TECHNOPATH opened an R&D facility and created a development plan to construct and maintain a manufacturing facility. Operating from new custom-built facilities in Ballina, Co. Tipperary, Technopath now has full R&D and Production teams manufacturing ISO accredited In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices. This division complements our already established presence in the clinical diagnostics market and facilitates enormous enhancement of the quality and versatility of TECHNOPATHs products and services, augmenting the reputation of the company whilst providing a basis for expansion and growth. TECHNOPATH contributes to the domestic economy by creating employment, R&D, intellectual property for future development and growth, and through the continuous development and training of our employees.
Our services include the development of bespoke Quality Control materials for the Diagnostic industry, blood components for the Bioprocessing industry and identification systems for characterizing yeasts used in fermentation technology. TECHNOPATH supplies products for Interventional Cardiology and Radiology, Critical Care, Enteral Feeding, Pathology Laboratories, Pharmaceutical, Food and Water Sectors.
The strategy of manufacturing our own product portfolio was further enhanced in 2008 when TECHNOPATH established an R&D programme to develop a technology for mammalian cell selection for the Pharmaceutical Bioprocessing Industry, in collaboration with the Institute of Technology Tralee [ITT], and co-funded by Enterprise Ireland. This was extended further when we became partners in a new service and R&D facility in ITT, specialising in the characterisation of yeast strains used in the brewing and food/dairy industry.
The latest addition to the TECHNOPATH GROUP, Envetec, specialises in Healthcare Waste Management and has licensed a new patented technology, developed in the US, for Europe and the Middle East. This new technology removes hazardous waste from our roads, reduces landfill, reduces C02 emissions, reduces dioxin emissions, and reduces costs.
Since its foundation, Envetec has focussed on establishing a global network of subsidiaries. Joint Ventures and regional partnerships in order to proliferate its non-burn technologies.
Having secured regulatory approvals in the US, Ireland, the Philippines and many other jurisdictions, Envetec is working with regulatory agencies around the world so that our customers and partners can avail of the safest, lowest-cost and most effective treatments for medical waste available anywhere.
But Envetec is not just an equipment vendor.... we work with clients on a long-term, partnership basis - that spans the initial needs analysis, designing optimal system solutions, installation, training, on-going technical supports - in organisations throughout the healthcare and allied sectors.
