Environmental Contractors Association, Inc.
The Environmental Contractors Association (ECA) was founded in 1996 by a group of highly qualified environmental contractors committed to raising the standards of the industry. Working closely with legislators, industry experts and labor- management, ECA establishes best practices, standard procedures and safety initiatives. ECA has grown to include over 50 members with contractors who specialize in asbestos, lead, and mold abatement, hazardous materials removal, emergency response, oil, sewage and chemical spills, brownfields cleanup, contaminated water cleanup, fire and flood restoration, infectious clean up and bacterial/biological emergencies, and PCB removal. Environmental remediation carries with it many benefits, including improved air and water quality, conserved natural resources, reduced operating costs, enhanced occupant comfort and health, as well as a minimized strain on local infrastructure.
