History
EEI got its start over 35 years ago in June of 1976 by Owner/CEO/President Dan McCabe. The company was formed after President Ford introduced the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Mr. McCabe saw this as a great opportunity and put his chemistry and engineering background to work in this up and coming field. Over EEI’s time, it has excelled in the greater Cincinnati area and Ohio as a top competitor. Along with the birth of the company, the field services division got its start in the same year (1976). To keep pushing itself into the main arena, Dan McCabe opened a commercial environmental laboratory in 1977 followed by a treatment facility (TSD) in 1979. In 1980, Environmental Enterprises took its step onto the national stage after expanding its operations to a wider geographical area in the continental United States. In the coming years, EEI created three more divisions. Those being the Lab Pack Division in 1982, Mid-west Environmental Transport (MET) in 1987, and Environmental Assessment Group (EAG). In 1993 Environmental Enterprises broadened its boarders by going International, managing hazardous waste removal in Puerto Rico. EEI has become a fully rounded and very functional environmental company that sees the value in making customers waste problems much less stressful and time consuming. EEI also takes pride in their great engineering and chemical depth due to the valued employees and their effort to keep learning.
Environmental Enterprises, Inc.will continue to be a leader in the development of innovative and cost effective approaches for the treatment, storage, disposal of hazardous waste, environmental, health and safety services. EEI will also keep striving for the goal to preserve our environment for future generations.
