About Us
Environmental Products & Services of Vermont, Inc. (EPS) is the realized dream of two men who purchased a small environmental services company back in 1999. Since then, Anthony Melfi, President, and Chris Parzych, Vice President, have expanded the Company to 14 offices and two permitted waste facilities. This network of offices allows seamless response services for the entire east coast of the United States.
Through a dedicated, audited contractor network, the Company also provides services to all 50 states on a 24/7 basis. Unlike many of our competitors, EPS does not rely upon part time responders to perform emergency response. Our 180 employees are available to respond 24/7.
Also unlike our competitors, our phones are answered 24/7 by an EPS spill manager. There is no lag time spent waiting to be connected to a company representative or being told you’ll be called back. We are very proud of our history of great customer service and would like to make you our next satisfied client.
Our Mission and Experience
EPS has a proven track record of over 25 years in performing environmental work. The key for EPS's success with the agencies that enforce environmental laws is proper training, certification, and education. Our personnel have CDLs, 40-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Training, DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Training, as well as monthly and annual proficiency training. Our technical and professional staff, licensed/certified by state and national agencies, have diverse backgrounds and experience in the environmental industry.
Environmental law, in its increasing complexity, coupled with growing public concern, demands safe and timely solutions to environmental problems. EPS designs economical approaches to meet these requirements. Our multi-disciplinary staff consists of engineers, geologists, technicians, chemists, environmental scientists, industrial hygienists, asbestos technicians, spill response experts, and regulatory specialists.
Our Strength & 24/7 Support
For 25 years, EPS has been promptly responding to clients day and night to minimize the losses in productivity, reduce environmental damage, health threats, and liability.
With our network of branches, over 150 professionals and specialists, more than 180 custom-built waste-handling vehicles, and an extensive inventory of technical equipment, EPS provides cost-effective, quality solutions across the United States and into Canada.
