European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers (EAGE)

The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) is a global professional, not-for-profit association for geoscientists and engineers with approximately 19,000 members worldwide. The association is truly multi-disciplinary and international in form and pursuits. All members of EAGE are professionally involved in (or studying) geophysics, petroleum exploration, geology, reservoir engineering, mining and mineral exploration, civil engineering, tunneling and environmental matters. EAGE has three Circles within the association: Oil and Gas Geoscience Circle, Near Surface Geoscience Circle and Sustainable Energy Circle. These entities reflect the interests of our members and have dedicated publications, meetings and educational offerings. Each Circle is led by a committee overseeing the further development of the circle, its activities and cooperation with the other two circles.
