Everyday Energy is a solar energy company that specializes in the finance, design, and installation of solar energy systems for multi-family and multi-tenant buildings. Our founders Chris Taylor and Scott Sarem started Everyday Energy in 2010. As fathers and surfers, they wanted to create a business that was different—one that was sustainable and responsible, but most importantly one that made the solar equation work financially for our customers.

'Everyday Energy has exceeded our expectations with their ability to quickly and professionally install designed solar systems for our properties. We are very pleased with our working relationship with Everyday Energy and their outstanding performance. The solar systems they have installed are providing clean, renewable energy at a savings that will certainly benefit the operation of the property for years to come. We are looking forward in continuing our relationship in building sustainable housing communities.'
Our first projects focused on installing solar for multi-family affordable housing communities throughout San Diego and California. Today, we continue to serve the affordable housing sector but have expanded to include all multi-family and multi-tenant buildings thanks to the implementation of virtual net metering by the California Public Utilities Commission. The approval of virtual net metering for all multi-tenant buildings is a game changer for the solar industry in California. It reduces installation costs and the complexities and challenges with multiple meters. Today, we continue our work in the affordable housing community as well as expanding to make the solar equation work for all multi-tenant residential and commercial buildings.
We specialize in financing, designing, installing, and maintenance of solar energy systems for multi-tenant residential and commercial buildings. It is our goal to make it easy for our clients to receive the benefits of solar. This is accomplished by listening and learning about our customers and how we can help them reduce their energy costs and install a solar system that meets their needs and the needs of their community.
In addition, we are experienced in leveraging state and federal incentives that can benefit our customers; creating financial scenarios like our Solar Service Agreement that allows customers to install solar at little to no out of pocket expense; developing training and community outreach programs; and staying on the pulse of the industry.
When we started our business, our vision was to create something that was sustainable and made good business sense. Turns out that in our efforts to build a strong business we have helped our clients provide strength and stability to their multi-tenant housing investments by providing a cost effective way to deploy solar pv that allows them to fix their energy costs and improve the overall value of their substantial investment.
We believe that hard work, innovation, listening, environmental responsibility, and investing in the community and our employees will be the keys to our success.
