Geo Oxidation Services, Inc. uses a well-known, waste water industry chemical oxidation process, Fenton’s Reagent. In 1894, H.J.H. Fenton discovered that hydrogen peroxide when mixed with correct proportions of a soluble iron catalyst at a pH of around 3 would generate hydroxyl radicals. The hydroxyl radical is very powerful and second only to fluoride as an oxidizer. When in contact with organic containments, the process will yield CO2 and H2O. The catalyst used is harmless and not deemed a contaminant.
