Having established the Mitsubishi product range in the U.K, the founder of GR Scientific George Robertson, started a new company (Petrochem Analysis Ltd) in the early 1980’s to design and manufacture coulometric Karl Fischer titrators. George developed the first Aquapal models which were intrinsically safe (explosion proof) and designed for use on gas platforms in the North Sea. The Aquapal name was derived from aqua, the Latin for water, and P.A.L. the initials of the company. These models were soon joined by basic laboratory and fully portable units which eventually evolved into the Aquapal III.
George then established G.R. Scientific Ltd in 1995 where he expanded the product range to create the GRS2000 followed by the Cou-Lo Compact, Trans and Select models. Requests and suggestions from major customers in the U.K, particularly in the oil & petrochemical industries, convinced us to combine some of the features of the Cou-Lo Compact and Select models to create the Aquamax KF which is already becoming very well established as the instrument of choice for many leading companies. As a small manufacturing business we know how demanding this industry is and thus developed the Aquamax Volumetric KF as an addition to the coulometric titrator range for higher water content applications.
We have a global distributor network with a vast sales and service network. We aim to ensure that all our customers have dedicated specialists for service and support when required.
The most recent product developed by our growing team is the PAT940 Smart Titrator which has been designed specifically for the wide range of applications within the oil and petrochemical industries. Using the latest touch screen and automatic electrode recognition technology, this versatile system announces the start of the next generation of potentiometric titrators.
We pride ourselves in the quality of all our products, our coulometric glassware sets are manufactured in the UK by the very best glassblowers in this industry whilst our friendly sales, marketing and technical support team will guide you from choosing the right instrumentation to providing customised after sales service and application support.
