Güralp Systems Ltd.
Established more than thirty years ago, Güralp Systems Ltd is a leading global provider of seismic instrumentation and seismic monitoring systems. We employ over 110 talented and dedicated individuals from a range of disciplines including engineering, science and manufacturing. We manufacture force-feedback, broadband seismometers, accelerometers and data acquisition systems for a range of research and industrial applications. Installed in networks around the globe, our customers use our instruments to measure natural earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, as well as man-made vibrations and tremors such as those resulting from nuclear tests, energy production or the construction of major infrastructure. We have a highly trained field service team with certification for working in a variety of locations around the world.

We manufacture all of our instrumentation at our dedicated 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Aldermaston, in the UK.
All of our sensors are built in clean, HEPA filtered laminar flow environments which achieve ISO Class 7 cleanliness (equivalent to FED Class 10,000).
The most critical mechanical components are designed and manufactured in-house using the latest CAD/CAM technology and are machined on our 4 state of the art CNC milling machines, including 2 robotically tended 5-axis machines. This allows for reduced lead time, tight process control, and a lean design cycle due to our ability to rapidly develop and refine product prototypes.Electronic assemblies are built to meet the standards of IPC-A-610, for quality and reliability.
Before any order leaves our facility, it is subjected to a full independent ‘user-experience’ system integration test, followed by a final QA sign off.
Güralp accelerometers monitor strong motion events for earthquake early warning and structural health monitoring, as well as to complement our weak and medium motion seismometers.
For risk management and emergency response requirements, we have developed industry leading, low-latency data protocols specifically for earthquake early warning systems.
