HRS Group was founded in 1981. Our core business is heat transfer and its application in thousands of processes, spanning industries from Food to Pharmaceutical, from Chemical to HVAC, from Energy to Water and many innovative “Green” applications.
Our products and process innovation supports our customers in the things that matter such as energy efficiency and competitively priced products. We relish the challenges of a future where our core competence has never been needed more: to be able to provide solutions from the core of your processes.
- Reducing your impact on our environment.
- Improving the quality of our customers finished product.
- Reducing Energy Consumption.
- Turning waste to value.
Through patented innovations and proven heat exchanger products we can apply knowledge and experience to position our customers at the front of their industry. Less waste, less energy and less product damage means more productivity, more cost reduction and more quality.
With production capacity in Europe and Asia and plus technical design and sales offices around the world (Spain, UK, Germany, USA, Peru, Emirates, India) we are able to support a broad geographical base of customers.
In 1981 The HRS Group of Companies started with the formation of Heat Recovery Systems Ltd. (later known simply as HRS) which was based solely in the UK, and specialised in supplying heat exchangers for use in energy recovery, and process systems.
Recent developments include:
In 2001, we formed a joint venture with a large Indian plc to manufacture our products under licence and to introduce our range of innovative ideas to the Indian market. After 4 years, HRS bought out our licensee and formed our own company in India HRS Process Systems Ltd which has continued to grow significantly over the subsequent years. This company built its own factory, manufacturing facility and offices on land acquired by HRS and was formally opened in May 2007.
In 2004, the Group set up a subsidiary in the USA and started to develop the US market for HRS products as HRS Process Technology Inc.
In 2009, the company acquired the majority stake in the heat exchanger part of its sister company in Spain to bring all activities regarding heat exchanger design, production and sales, together with all the patents for the various products, in-house. This has now created a strong group under one ownership with a single aim of expanding to become a recognized leading player in the heat exchanger market. The spanish subsidiary is called HRS Heat Exchangers S.L.
In 2009 HRS HEVAC open a new manufacturing company based in the UK, called HRS HEVAC Engineering Ltd, for the manufacture of packaged skids, and vessels for the HEVAC market.
In 2012 opened a new subsidiary in Malaysia called HRS Heat Exchangers SDN BHD. At present, our Malaysian office is expanding quickly and it is going to be our hub for SE Asia.
In 2014 the company founded a subsidiary in Australia & New Zealand called HRS Heat Exchangers ANZ to provide a base for offering full sales, project and aftermarket services to customer base in the region. Also, the offices extend HRS' reach into the Asia-PAC region.
Creating innovative solutions at the heart of the process.
HRS is a world leader in heat transfer equipment, and an expert in many systems around thermal processing. In most cases the optimized design of the Heat Exchanger is influential in the final product quality, energy efficiency, plant running times, and our customers peace of mind.
