The HydroLynx 5354/A2 Packaged Rain Station combines the effectiveness of the standard ALERT2 Self-Reporting Rain Station with the utility of the 50386 Data Transmitter. Besides the ALERT communications port, the standard 50386 has two serial ports that provide the capability of multiple communication pathways. With the port expansion option that capability is increased to six serial ports. Examples of the multiple communication pathways include satellite timed and event data transmissions, two way ScadaLynx protocol utilizing ScadaLynx, cellular, Wifi radios. The possible communication pathways are unlimited.

The HydroLynx Model 5854/A2 ALERT 2 Packaged Rain Station combines the effectiveness of the standard ALERT2 Self-Reporting Rain Station with the utility of the 50388 Data Transmitter. Besides the USB programming port, the standard 50388 has four serial ports that provide the capability of multiple communication pathways. Examples of the multiple communication pathways include satellite timed and event data transmissions, two way ScadaLynx protocol utilizing ScadaLynx, cellular, Wifi radios. The possible communication pathways are unlimited.

The HydroLynx Model 5390/A2 ALERT2 Packaged Pressure Transducer Level Station combines the effectiveness of the ALERT2 Self Reporting Weather Station with the utility of the 50386 transmitter. This package includes a Model 50386-90 Data Transmitter, a 5050LL-PTD Pressure Transducer (user specified range), all cables and connectors, and a weatherproof standpipe assembly to house the transmitter and support the standard omni-directional antenna.

The newest 5096 Data Transmitter 9601-01 firmware release on May 2, 2017 is Version 5.8. This release contains all the features introduced in previous releases.

The Model 50386 Real-time Data Transmitter collects, processes, and transmits analog, digital, and serial sensor data on events and timed intervals. The collection, processing, and transmission of sensor data is controlled by parameters that are programmed using the 50386 Toolbox software. The sensor data can be transmitted using multiple communication paths with mixed formats and protocols.

The Model 5054TS is the standard ALERT rain gauge housing designed to attach to any ALERT station standpipe. Its design also allows for stand alone mounting with roof mount. It is used with the standard ALERT rain gauge sensor, Model 5050P.

The Model 5050P Tipping Bucket Rain Sensor is used in the Model 5054TS Rain Gauge Top Section. The sensor is made of hard anodized aluminum. Self-lubricating nylon bearings provide long term operation. The tipping bucket comes with a bullseye level for simple initial installation. A magnetically operated sealed reed switch provides a reliable SPDT digital signal for transmission by the ALERT Transmitter. HydroLynx tipping buckets are warranted for life to the original purchaser.

The 5050WD is the standard sensor used on the Model 5081 Packaged Weather Stations for measuring wind direction. The vane assembly, which responds to changes in wind direction, is attached to the shaft of a potentiometer. The potentiometer translates the wind direction into a 0-5 Vdc linear output when a 5 Vdc reference voltage is applied across the potentiometer.

The 5050WS is a durable Lexan plastic assembly that resists icing. As the standard wind speed sensor on the Model 5081 Packaged Weather Station, its low moment of inertia permits rapid response to gusts and lulls while Teflon bearings make it ideal for use in harsh environments, including salt air.

The Model 200-05103 and Model 200-05305 Professional Wind Sensors provide reliable information about wind speed and wind direction even in harsh environments. Simplicity and lightweight corrosion resistant construction were principal design considerations. Slip rings and brushes have been eliminated, resulting in improved reliability with lower cost. Modern thermoplastic materials improve resistance to corrosion from sea-air environments and from atmospheric pollutants.
