ADS Pipe Canada
Introduced in the United States in 1966, this plastic pipe proved to be far superior to the materials in use at the time. Its many advantages included lightweight construction for easy handling, high resistance to corrosion and abrasion, and strength and durability to withstand severe loading conditions. It was not surprising that the ADS pipe soon became the clear choice for applications in agriculture, mining, forestry, recreation, and civil engineered construction projects. Our commitment to the drainage industry is reflected by several significant technological innovations: In 1982, ADS announced the introduction of new 450 mm & 600 mm pipes. These larger-diameter products were described as `the most important advancement since ADS introduced corrugated plastic pipe in the United States” 15 years ago. These new sizes dramatically enhanced the Company`s ability to compete against the construction materials traditionally used for larger diameter applications.

About us
Gerald W. Clarke, founder of Ideal Pipe, was a man of vision, determination, and dedication to the Canadian drainage industry. His vision began as a contractor in 1968, installing millions of meters of municipal and farm drainage pipe systems across Southwestern Ontario. During those humble beginnings, Gerry recognized the need for higher quality and more readily available pipe products in the industry and began manufacturing HDPE plastic drainage pipe in 1979.
Today Ideal Pipe is an innovative pipe manufacturer, with product design, manufacturing, testing and technical support of HDPE plastic pipe systems.
Ideal Pipe produces products and solutions utilized in today’s agricultural, commercial, residential, recreational and highway drainage and storm-water management and treatments.
Originally based out of Southwestern Ontario, Ideal Pipe has grown to include manufacturing facilities in Eastern Ontario and Western Manitoba. Over the years, Ideal Pipe has developed relationships with drainage contractors, distributors and engineers throughout Canada.
At Ideal Pipe, we continue to provide the industry with new solutions and innovative products. Vision, determination, and dedication in our industry for higher quality and service is our mission, as it was with our founder.
