Since 1959, IHS Markit had served customers ranging from governments and multi-national companies to smaller businesses and technical professionals. As customers’ needs for information and insight evolved, so did IHS. Our growth strategy included the acquisition of many best-in-class industry information and expert companies, many with a colorful history dating back to the late 1700 and 1800s. In 2016, IHS entered a merger of equals with another global information leader to create a new company, IHS Markit.
At IHS Markit, Corporate Sustainability is not a special project. Sustainability is a core element of our business model and key to our future performance.
We are proud of our progress, and are committed to helping to transform the world, as we work together in addressing the critical economic, environmental and social issues facing organizations worldwide. IHS Markit takes a holistic approach to engage with our customers, operate and support our colleagues, as well as interact with our communities.
