About us
IMX Inc. was founded in Seattle (USA), in 1983 by Alan McLachlan, former Vice President of Federal Signal Co. and Giovanni Mario Bardoni, President of SES Engineering and EN-SER Engineering & Service SRL (GMB Group).
They have implemented their knowledge and experience into development of the Innovative products of IMX. Alan McLachlan made his contribution into Notification Devices and Giovanni Mario Bardoni developed the Gas Detectors, thanks to his experience as R & D Manager in MSA and Technical Expert in General Monitors.
In 2002, GMB Group and a Swiss investor have committed to IMX USA & Italy to develop a New range of Advanced “State of the Art” Fire & Gas Detectors, focusing on Multi Technology Sensor and New-Generation Electronics.
Thanks to great success, IMX SA Holding was formed to further development and expansion of its business as a leader in the Gas Detection and Notification Devices markets.
In 2010 IMX became a 100% Italian company and started its “new lifecycle” of business expansion.
