Our expertise is in geology, hydrology, and the geochemical characterization of soil and ground water. We characterize contaminated soil and groundwater plumes, develop remediation plans, and implement and manage cleanup operations. Knoll gains the confidence and agreement of the community and regulators for the characterization and remediation of simple to complex contaminant sites.
Knoll designs, installs, and operates for its clients and for larger environmental firms Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) and pro-biological remediation systems for ground water and soil contaminants. The delivery of the chemical oxidization solutions to the subsurface is completed by Knoll's Hydro-Tech hydraulic and core drilling technology. ISCO services include laboratory bench scale testing, system design and implementation, and post operation monitoring to achieve site closure.
Knoll learned through hands on installation and operation of remedial systems that cost-effective management of soil and ground water contamination can be achieved without over-design and engineering. Our approach and our technical arguments are supported by a high level of written and verbal presentation skills, and we are able to provide our services within the context of local and state environmental programs while working under sometimes complex social and political conditions.
Over the years, we have developed a philosophy for environmental restoration that has minimized our clients' environmental liabilities with significant cost savings. For the past 18 years, we have successfully managed projects ranging from initial investigation and assessment to remedial design, implementation and operation, and litigation support.
