With over a decade of experience, L3 OceanServer has built a low cost, low logistic and highly capable family of AUVs. L3 OceanServer is proud to have over 300 vehicles in the field and thousands of missions completed. Our field proven systems are modular and can be customized to address each customer’s operation profile. Our modular, open architecture design supports a variety of sensors including side scan sonar, bathymetry, water quality, optical and magnetometer. The Iver family of vehicles are ideal for coastal applications such as sensor development, general survey work, sub-surface security, research and environmental monitoring. Our vehicles are world wide shippable using commercial carriers enabling you to get your vehicle to the mission faster.

All mission planning is completed using VectorMap, our common mission planning and PMA tool. VectorMap supports planning for multiple vehicle missions on any geo-referenced 2D surface, S57, UAV images or raster charts. VectorMap is easy to use for planning, tracking, viewing, customizing and reporting.

The Iver family of vehicles are all built in a man portable form factor. This eliminates the use of a crane for safer, fast and easier operations. The vehicles can be deployed from a wide range of platforms including vessels of opportunity. This also allows for easier launch and recovery in poor state conditions.

All Ivers vehicles are ultra low logistic vehicles. The vehicle can be split into lighter, smaller packages which allows transport on commercial airlines without any additional specialized equipment or special certifications.

The Iver AUV provides the ability to rapidly collect temporally and spatially dense sets of data of the entire water body. This provides a continuum of data within your area of research interest. Our research AUVs have been designed to help answer some of the most challenging questions under water.
