LDJ Manufacturing, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Loren and Jean Van Wyk. Originally created as a side business to supplement the family's farming income, LDJ quickly developed a reputation for uncompromising quality in steel fabrication and turned into a full-time endeavor.

Today, LDJ's capable staff continues to live up to this reputation through every step of the manufacturing process. The company operates two in-house brands: the Thunder Creek Equipment brand of diesel fuel and service trailers and the Thunder Creek Customs brand of storage systems for detachable Harley-Davidson® accessories.

As the President, Loren leads the company using his God-given talents for developing new solutions. Most days you'll find him in the factory expanding upon one of the company's stand-alone product lines or creating an innovative solution to enhance a product. Loren's wife, Jean, provides leadership and direction as the company's Vice President. The business operation extends to the next generation of the Van Wyk family. The eldest of Loren and Jean's five children, sons Luke and Chad, serve as the company's General Manager and Manufacturing Manager, respectively.

'Over the years, we have gained a reputation for not only quality work but also for creative and design excellence,' says Loren. 'This is what I enjoy most - I love the challenge to make something better than expected.'

'We are proud of the products we build,' says Luke. 'Our production staff is world class and our customers are served by a team of sales, marketing and administrative professionals that is second to none.'
